Bluetooth Earphones – Top 10 best earphones

You’re probably wondering what the best pair of Bluetooth earphones to get, well look no further, we’ve done all the research to help you out with your decision.

Choosing the right pair of earphones can be tough. Especially when sometimes you can’t actually try them out, so what we’ve done is comprised a list of questions to help guide you with your decision, although we will give you our suggestions at the end of the day it will boil down to personal choice.

There are so many companies in the market competing with each other these days you will more than likely purchase a top-notch pair of Bluetooth earphones that will suit your needs.

We will give you a list of the top 6 earphones, people are currently buying, these choices are from top sound engineers within the field who have tried and tested Bluetooth earphones and have rated them according to best sound and quality.

Purpose of my Bluetooth earphones?

This is a fairly straight forward question, by now you already have some idea what you are going to be using your Bluetooth earphones for, either some form of exercise, work related or perhaps to allow the hands free option whilst driving, or even perhaps all the above mentioned options.

We will discuss the best Bluetooth earphones that people are buying this year that will assist with all the options mentioned.

How comfortable are my Bluetooth earphones?

This is the plus side with wireless Bluetooth earphones, their are no annoying cables getting in the way, rather just a small cable that connects the 2 ear pieces.

As far as the inner ear cups go, most Bluetooth earphones if not all that you purchase now come with 3 or 4 various sizes to choose from that will help with that extra snug fit inside the ear.

If you’re looking for something more stable you have the option of buying the Bluetooth earphones that have the over the ear hooks. Personally I found that just the standard inner ear fit was efficient enough.

Technology has improved at such a vast rate over the years making your Bluetooth earphones an even better fit, but once again this boils down to personal choice, most of the over the ear hooks can be detached should you decide you don’t need them.

What is the battery life like on my Bluetooth earphones?

Since Bluetooth earphones rely on power to run, it’s important to consider how long of a battery life your earphones have.

This is definitely a question you want to ask before buying Bluetooth earphones. They range from 3 hours to 8 hours, depending on what you are going to use them for this will help you in terms of what will suit you the most.

Remember they are rechargeable, you will be supplied a USB cable or docking station that will connect to the Bluetooth earphones so you can recharge them.

Are my Bluetooth earphones easy to use?

Are the controls on the Bluetooth earphones user-friendly? Allowing for all the standard functions, stop/play/pause/skip track forward/skip track backwards.

Can my Bluetooth earphones pair with more than 1 device? This is a nice option or feature to have, you might want to play music and then be able to take an incoming call from your mobile.

You can always check that with any supplier before making your purchase if you can’t find the relevant info on their product spec sheet.

How is The Sound Quality of my Bluetooth earphones?

Most the Bluetooth earphones out their claim to be top-notch when it comes to sound quality, personally I think what separates the top with the rest is Bluetooth earphones that also have external noise reduction and offer accurate high-definition sound with powerful bass and that can play at high volumes with no distortion.

Am I getting value for money for my Bluetooth earphones?

Remember one important thing here, just because it costs a lot, doesn’t mean it’s a good quality, most of the time it’s because it’s a name brand however on that note sometimes when paying cheap you get cheap. So we suggest you look at all the deciding factors or what features your Bluetooth earphones has to offer you and what fits with your requirements and what you would be happy spending before you make your purchase.

Prices can range anything from $50 to $300 so make sure that you are buying with quality and what your Bluetooth earphones have to offer you in mind.

Below is what we have found to be the top Bluetooth earphones out their that people are buying.

1. Optoma NuForce BE6i

Sporty headphones that are great for casual listeners too. Comfortable fit
Amazing value, Cheap remote, light on features

2. Optoma NuForce BE Sport3

One of the best wireless earphones you can buy

Great sound
Great battery life
Tons of accessories
Cheap remote
Noise Isolation

3. Jaybird X3

Sporty headphones that are great for casual listeners too

Amazing value
Above average battery life
A bit expensive

The Jaybird X3 are a great improvement over an already excellent pair of in-ear headphones with the X2’s.

We liked their slimmer profile, a battery life boost is always welcome,
and the new MySound app allows you to find a sound profile that’s
perfect for you.

We’d prefer to have a universal USB charger
rather than a proprietary charging dock, but this is a minor complaint
for a pair of headphones that otherwise tick all the boxes.

4. Beats X

Balanced sound signature
Quick Charge feature

Relatively expensive
Lacking in clarity

5. Bose Quiet Control 30

Stellar noise cancellation

Long-lasting battery
Sound isn’t great for it’s price
Neckband will be divisive
Neckband could seem rather bulky to most

6. Jaybird Freedom Wireless

Great build quality
EQ settings follow you
Short battery life

If you’re looking for something stylish and don’t mind compromising
slightly on sound quality, the Jaybird Freedom Wireless is probably your
best bet.

Comfort and design are definitely high points on this item. Unfortunately, though, mediocre
sound quality and a short battery life keep them from winning top marks.

Our Final say

And their you have it, these so far seem to be the most popular that people are buying, depending on their needs and tastes, but at least you have something to use as a guideline when deciding which Bluetooth earphones you’d like to buy.

Hope this helped, let us know your views and how else we can assist you

Bluetooth earphones are nice but sometimes the battery life is not that good. When I travel I always bring 2 of them, one wired and one wireless. But anyway, this is a good review and will surely be a reference when I choose to buy another bluetooth earphone. Good job! 🙂

      Hi Nathan

Thanks so much for the feed back, yes battery life is probably one of the first things I’d check out before buying a pair of earphones, you get really good ones, I have a pair that has 8 hours of battery life, and they were quite cheap. Your wireless however do tend to run flat quicker, but I’m actually going to do a blog about those 2, so you’ll have even more info before buying a pair.

Once again thanks so much for the feedback

      Please keep in touch

I love those earphones, the only problem I encounter with them is sometimes the connection is lost or when you have a bit static electricity, they actually ping that in your ear. I’m going to check out the BOSE one, I love that brand!

      Hi Emmanuel

Thanks so much for the post, apologies for the late response, I’ve had internet issues over the lsat few days, you cant go wrong with the Bose, they are the bomb! As far as your earphones with the loss of connection or interference, you should only really loose connection if you’re out of range of your paired bluetooth device, depending on the device you use, be it an mp3 player or mobile device will depend on the range it allows, other than that you shouldnt loose connectivity, if you are then one of your devices could be faulty. If you think its your earphone I’d check with the supplier. You should definately not be exeriencing static, maybe just check if your equaliser function is set to on.

Hope this helps, but definatley give the Bose a bash, theyre great! Thanks so much once again for the post, I will definately read through your website and give you some feedback.

I have recently lost most of my hearing and have had to get hearing aids. I have been wondering if I can get a pair of bluetooth ear buds that will allow me to hear music on my phone, and answer the phone? Is that possible? When I go to the beach, I can’t wear my hearing aids, so I basically can’t hear anything. Ear buds that could interact with my phone would be so great.

      Hi Leahrea

Absolutely, my brother is also deaf, he was born that way, not totally but 90% in the 1 ear and about 70% in his other ear, and he uses bluetooth earphones and can hear music and call from his phone, I just want to point out as well that the new hearing aids today can come with the bluetooth enabled function, unfortunately I havent quite covered that yet on my website yet, but here’s a link for you to checkout as another option for you.

      Hope this helps

Please keep in touch and let me know if there’s anything else i can help you with.

      Kindest Regards
